IBM Connections 6.0 - bug in wikis with bullet points

At Beck et al. Services we have upgraded our IBM Connections infrastructure to the current release of IBM Connections 6.0. After this upgrade we have identified a bug in wiki pages…

When you have a list with bullet points in your wiki page:

… and these bullet points vanish when viewing:

We analyzed this issue and found out that this is issue is caused by the Action center in the Header which is installed together with the new "Orient Me" component.

The style attribute for the unordered list is set to padding-left:0; list-style-type: none;

ul {
display: block;
 list-style-type: none; margin: 0;
 padding-left: 0;

This has the effect, that the Bullet points are not shown when viewing the wiki page.

IBM Support gave us a workaround and informed us that they will fix it in one of the next releases of "Orient Me".

The workaround is as following:
Adjust your custom.css file. (Linux: /opt/IBM/Connections/data/customization/themes/hikariTheme/custom.css)

.qkrWikiPreview ul, .cke_editable ul {
    padding-left: 40px;
    list-style-type: disc;

A restart of IBM Connections is required to activate this workaround.
If you have the same issue, we hope that this will help you. In case of questions just leave a comment.
